You can see the winter season with the naked eye. During Advent, pretty colourful lights adorn the houses, the Bismarck Tower shines as the ‘Ingelummer Kerz’, the days are shorter and the weather is visible at a glance. There are also many festivities, be it Christmas and family celebrations or carnival events, where you can see each other or meet up with old friends. In winter, there are also many events where you can socialise with your friends and acquaintances.
