A historical circular route with 19 stations leads to the major sights such as the Aula regia, the Heidesheimer Tor or the Saalkirche, each of which is an example of a building period in the imperial palace. But even the remnants of the Palatinate, some of which are hidden in the Saal area, cannot be overlooked thanks to large information boards. The starting point for the circular route is the museum at the Imperial Palace.
