Between vines and terroir: tickets still available for vineyard tour

The tours with mobile wine tasting lead through picturesque locations that are known for their excellent wines. Guests can look forward to an exciting tour during which they will learn more about the characteristics of the wines and the diversity of the vineyards and soils. In keeping with the geological features, five selected wines from different wineries will be served along the way. The samples allow guests to taste how the respective location of the vines, the terroir, influences the flavour of the wine. The tour stops for a snack consisting of ‘Weck, Worscht & Woi’ and non-alcoholic drinks.

The vineyard tour starts on 23 April at 5 p.m. at Weingut Mett & Weidenbach, Mainzer Straße 31. After a welcome sparkling wine in the charming courtyard, the covered wagon sets off. On the informative tour through the local vineyards, the team from the Ingelheim vinotheque will tell you all kinds of details about wine and terroir.
