Alles Carl? – Alles Karl! - Künste & Klänge

Musical theatre play Comedy meets historical musical comedy when theatre professionals and Ingelheim amateurs act together on stage. Two famous ‘C/K-arls’ take centre stage: Carl Zuckmayer and Charlemagne. But who is actually more important for the region? The folk play (in the Zuckmayerian sense) by Claudia Wehner and Thilo Zetzmann charmingly combines past and present. Music and confusion guarantee a turbulent evening of theatre that culminates in a grand ‘Karlsfest’. In 2025, Ingelheim's Kultur und Marketing GmbH will once again be staging a top-class summer cultural programme in the Aula regia, Charlemagne's former throne room in the Imperial Palace area. Where emperors and kings once held court, the ‘Arts & Sounds’ series will take place from 7 to 10 August in a special historical setting. More information can be found here.
