This is how the Christmas season really begins - Paul Carrack and the SWR Big Band have been delighting their audiences with strings for years and enjoy cult status as a “must have” during Advent. The special Christmas sound of the Grammy-winning band merges perfectly with Carrack's irresistible voice and his Hammond organ. The new poinsettia in this program is the Swedish soul and jazz singer Ida Sand. She brings the Scandinavian flair to this Christmas Eve with songs from her homeland or Joni Mitchell.
