Viticulture has been part of our landscape and its culture for centuries. This also applies to Ingelheim in northern Rheinhessen. Beginning with viticulture in the Middle Ages under Charlemagne up to the present day, a thematic arc will be drawn to highlight the importance of viticulture for Ingelheim. Changes in the production of wine as well as in the grape varieties will be highlighted.
