Hiking, wine and wide open spaces in the Selz Valley

Hiking in the Selz valley: If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place for you. The rippling Selz, old archways and mills, meadows, fields and paddocks accompany you along the path on the plain. And once you have mastered the climbs through the vineyards, you will be rewarded with the most marvellous views.

The starting point for your discovery tours is the beautiful wine village of Schwabenheim in the Selz valley. The nearby hiking trails, the Hiwweltouren, lead directly out of the picturesque village into the heart of nature. The quickest to reach is the Hiwweltour Westerberg, a scenically varied hike that seamlessly combines nature, culture, history and wine. Geology, wine and marvellous panoramic views - on the Hiwweltour Stadecker Warte in Rheinhessen, you can actively experience wine and viticulture and marvel at the endless expanse of Germany's largest wine-growing region on the slopes of the vineyards.

The evening is dedicated to culinary delights, and we are happy to serve wines from our own vineyard.
