By selling the ‘Blaue-Schaf-Wein’ in its vinotheque, Kultur und Marketing GmbH (IkUM) is supporting the important work of ‘in.betrieb - Gesellschaft für Teilhabe und Integration’, which runs an integrative daycare centre and the inclusive business ‘wasch.werk & rad.werk’ in Ingelheim, among other things. A 2018 Pinot Noir (18.90 euros) and a 2023 Pinot Blanc & Chardonnay (15.90 euros) are available in the vinotheque.
‘Das Blaue Schaf’ is not just a consumer product, it also stands for inclusion, respect and tolerance, as winemaker Kristian Dautermann explains. He came up with the idea for the project together with wine sales expert Axel Gesser. The aim was not only to produce high-quality wines in harmony with nature, but also to fulfil a personal desire to provide food for thought with a charity project. In cooperation with the artist Rainer Bonk, the motif ‘The Blue Sheep’ was created, which, among other things, gave its name to the two ‘integration wines’. For the artist, the project is primarily about ‘building bridges’. The Blue Sheep is intended to stand as a link for a diverse society.
By purchasing the charity wine ‘Das Blaue Schaf’, customers of the Ingelheim vinotheque can make a contribution to giving people with disabilities the opportunity to play an active role in society.
The red and white versions of ‘Das Blaue Schaf’ are available at the vinotheque in the Ingelheimer Winzerkeller, Binger Straße 16.
