New Ingelheim picnic rucksack now available

Hiking, feasting and savouring - you can now do all of this with the new "Ingelheim picnic rucksack". The new offer from the tourist information centre of Ingelheim Kultur und Marketing GmbH (IkUM) invites you to combine enjoyment and nature experiences. On a hike through the Ingelheim wine landscape, you can find your personal favourite spot for a culinary break in the midst of nature. Or make yourself comfortable on the grounds of the Winzerkeller in its own vineyard or on the meadow.

The picnic rucksack is lovingly packed and fully equipped by the tourist information centre together with the Ingelheim vinotheque and the Winzerkeller restaurant. It contains the following for the hikers: a packed lunch for two people with a wrap (either chicken breast or vegetarian with cheese), fruit and a chocolate muffin, a bottle of wine from the Ingelheim Vinothek, two 0.5 litre bottles of water and two wine glasses including a wine glass holder.

The price for two people is 59 euros plus a 20 euro hire charge for the rucksack. Bookings can be made online here or by calling the Ingelheim Tourist Information Centre on 06132 / 710 009-200. For organisational reasons, bookings must be made three days before collection. The packed rucksack can be collected from Tuesdays to Fridays from 2.30 pm to 7.00 pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 1.00 pm to 6.00 pm from the Ingelheim Vinothek in the Winzerkeller, Binger Straße 16.
