The Ingelheimer Winzerkeller is the centrepiece for wine and cultural experiences. In an incomparable way, it combines tradition and modernity, history and zeitgeist. What was once the building of the former Ingelheim winegrowers' cooperative is now a place for wine and cultural enjoyment. Within its historic walls are the Ingelheim vinotheque, the tourist information office, the Winzerkeller restaurant and the multimedia wine experience exhibition "Kellergenossen - experience heritage up close". In addition, cultural events such as readings, concerts and cabaret take place regularly in the atmospheric vaulted cellar.
Wine.culture.enjoyment - that's what the Ingelheim Winzerkeller stands for. It's worth a visit!
Where better to taste the outstanding wines of the red wine town than in the Vinothek im Winzerkeller. More than 20 Ingelheim winegrowers and a distillery exhibit their wines and fine spirits here. Competent wine experts are happy to advise - also in the context of a small wine tasting.
The multimedia wine experience exhibition "KELLERGENOSSEN" is located on the second basement floor, where everything is about the history of the wine cellar and the people who laid the foundation stone for an extraordinary building here almost 120 years ago.
The exhibition received the "Best of Wine Tourism Award 2023" in the category "Arts and Culture" from Great Wine Capital.
