Obsthof and distillery Hemmes

In Gau-Algesheim in Rheinhessen, the Hemmes family has been active in agriculture as a family business for more than 350 years. While in the last few years mainly high-quality distillates and fruit wines were produced, they have now discovered viticulture as a new passion! After successful studies in Geisenheim, winemaker Florian Hemmes dedicates himself  with heart and soul to the new wine line VINUM GAUDIUM.

Even the Romans appreciated the excellent climatic conditions of Rheinhessen for growing wine. Following the motto "A WINE THAT BRINGS JOY", it is, above all, the characteristic aromas that delight the palate. There is something for every taste: white, rosé or red wine, mild, semi-dry or dry, making it even easier for you to find the right wine for every occasion.

And the visual appearance is not neglected either: the new wine line impresses with its design, with exclusivity and youthfulness in equal measure.
